Music and
singing in al-Qur `an and Sunnah
Know,
hopefully Allah-Subhanahu wa ta'ala-giving mercy to me and you all, that
includes the equally unfortunate, that with hard hearts are tested with a love
of singing and music. Listen to the song to be more loved by the majority of
people rather than hear the verses of the Qur `an. If only one of them to
listen to al-Qur `an from the beginning to the end it is not al-Qur` an that
will inspire him calmly. But if you read to him the songs, and the music of the
pendengaranmereka terketuk and their hearts thrilled and shaken. So Subhan
Allah, Glorified be Allah from this terfitnah people, who have wasted part of
its proximity to Allah-Allah-Subhanahu wa ta'ala, and willing to part straying
satan.
The following
sentences is a warning and advice to give affection. Let us pay attention to
the road together guidance and instructions that are enclosed in al-Qur `an and
Sunnah, because the best word is the word of God, and the best of guidance is
the guidance prophet of Allaah alaihi wa salam-. After that we look at the
words of the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah on music and singing which is a
flute-flute satan.
Allah
Subhanahu wa-ta'ala says:
"And
among men (there are) people who use words that are not useful to mislead (men)
from the way of Allah ..." (Surah Luqman: 6)
Ibn
Kathir-say-may Allaah have mercy on menafsiri the verse: "Allah Subhanahu
wa ta'ala-mentioned state of the wretch who turned from the benefits of
listening kalamullah, and even listen to the flute-flute, songs with a variety
of tones, as well as tool- musical instruments. "
As stated by
Ibn Mas'ud-Radaiallahuanhu-about-God's Word-the Subhanahu wa ta'ala:
"(Lahwul hadith) That is the song, for the sake of Allah is no god worthy
of worship except Him." And he repeated these words to three times.
Imam Ibn
Kathir-may Allaah have mercy-also cite words-may Allaah have mercy-Hasan
Al-Basri: "This verse down on singing and flutes (musical
instruments)."
Similarly,
the word of Allah Subhanahu wa-Ta'ala-:
"And
hasunglah who you could withstand, among them the invitation, ..." (Surat
al-Isra ': 64)
Ibn Kathir-may
Allaah have mercy-said: "Mujahid said:" (They are) with games and
singing (music). "Al-Qurtubi-may Allaah have mercy-said:" From Ibn
'Abbas-Radiallahuanhuma-and-Mujahid-may Allaah have mercy "(ie with )
singing, flute and games. "Ad-Dhahhak-may Allaah have mercy-said:"
(ie with) flute sound. "
As in the
Sunnah, then it has been narrated in Saheeh al-Bukhari in mu'allaq with jazm
form (definite, strong) that the Prophet of Allaah alaihi wa salam-said:
"Absolutely
there will be among my Ummah who will justify adultery, silk (for men), wine
and musical instruments." (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-Hafiz according to
hadith narrated by maushul (continued sanadnya) of 10 pathway. Hadith Sahih)
Hadith is a
clear argument that prohibition of musical instruments from several sides:
- 1. Word of his 'they menghalalkannya', then the sentence is clear that we have already mentioned, which include musical instruments are forbidden in the Shari'a which then permitted by such persons.
- 2. He-Allaah alaihi wa salam-dock mention of musical instruments with matters that are forbidden in qath'i (for sure), which with adultery, and wine. If the music is not haram then it would not coupled with both. So very true Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa-salam-against what he sabdakan. This era has been spun, the evil being ma'fur, and that ma'ruf be evil. Humans have considered both what is forbidden by Allah and His Messenger of Allaah alaihi wa-salam-and they deny people mencacatnya.
Ibn Majah and
Thabrani of Sahl ibn Sa'd narrated from the Messenger of Allaah alaihi
wa-salam-that-he-Allaah alaihi wa salam said:
"There
will be drowning my people, bursts (fire), and changes in shape." Said to
him: "When, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "If you have
looked (rampant, and spread) musical instruments, the female singer, and has
been considered halal khamer. "(Classed as saheeh by al-Albani in
as-Shahihah (1787))
Imam
as-sya'bi said: Dilaknatlah people sing and listen to it. "
Music and
singing by four priests
The priest
four schools, then their words on this issue is well known to everyone who
noticed their books and examined their utterances.
Imam Abu
Hanifa-may Allaah have mercy-said: "The Song (music, law) unlawful and
includes parts of sins." Even his followers openly explain to the
prohibition of all musical instruments. They openly declare that their music is
a vice that requires wickedness, and therefore utterly rejected testimony. Even
more noticeable than it is they say: "Truly listen to the song (music) is
wickedness, and enjoying it is kufr."
Imam
Malik-The-may Allaah have mercy, he was asked about the song (music) which
dirukhshah (permissible, given relief) by the people of Madinah, then he said:
"Which side do we simply those fasiq." And he said: "If there
someone buys a slave woman, and it turns out he found it was a singer, then it
is for him to return the slave woman by mentioning her shame (because expertise
is a disgrace singing). "
Imam
As-Shafi-may Allaah have mercy, then the companions who knew madzhabnya
explained publicly stated that he would shirk the musical instruments. Even
have mutawatir him that he said: "I left Baghdad (which to him there) a
made-up case by people zindiq, they named it the at-Taghbir, with them turning
people away from al-Qur` an. 'At- Taghbir is sya'ir-sya'ir are invited to
ascetic in the world, where one of the singer sung it in accordance with the
punches drum tones and semisalnya.
So Subhan
Allah, Imam Shafi'i openly asserted that people who commit such acts are
zindiq, then how often had he heard songs in music today that the servants
satan has tried to memperdengarkannya to humans either pleased or not pleasure?
What if Imam Shafi'i-may Allaah have mercy-hear acts some people who
menisbahkkan himself to madzhabnya today who said bolehnya heard singing
(music) and not haram? And they say that it is a poem that kindness is good,
and bad is bad? Where they have been mixed up in the affairs of human cases their
religion, and as if they come from another universe and do not know the song
(music) on this day.
Imam
Shafi'i-may Allaah have mercy-said: "The owner of the slave woman, if she
collects human slave to listen to the song, then he is a blockhead who rejected
his testimony." And he said of the harsh words: "It is an act
diyatsah (ie act which shows no signs of jealousy to yourself a man to
disobedience by his family, and the attitude of a dayyuts threatened by the
Prophet "Will not go into heaven.")
As for Imam
Ahmad-may Allaah have mercy-, then he is the son of Abdullah bin Ahmad said:
"I once asked bapakkau about singing (music), he replied:" The Song
(music) it would be hypocrisy grow in the heart, and it does not make awe .
"Then he mentioned the words-may Allaah have mercy-Imam Malik:" What
to do on our side is fasiq people. "
So they're
the priest four schools, they all have agreed to the prohibition of singing
(music), and confirmed with blatant about it. Even been quoted from the
scholars of the Muslims will be the ijma 'of the problem. Hopefully Allah
Subhanahu wa ta'ala have mercy on Ibn al-Qayyim when he said about music:
"So hear it is haram according to the school of Imam-Imam and other Muslim
scholars, and not appropriate for people who already smell the aroma of science
to be tawaqquf (silent undecided) in forbid it. At a minimum, it is music
syi'arnya people fasiq and khamr drinkers.
So here's the
words of the priest, who spoke to the right, while giving advice to the
servants of God. Suppose an observer attention to singing and music were
knocking-hearing hearing them, then surely they will give commentary with
comments such priests.
A man said to
Ibn 'Abbas-Radiallahuanhuma-: "What do you say about the song (music)?
Whether halal or haram? "So he replied:" What do you think about the
truth and kebatilah if they come on the Day of Resurrection, then where would
the song (music) is? "Then the man replied:" It would be with
falsehood. "Said Ibnu 'Abbas-Radiallahuanhuma-: "Go, you have given a
fatwa to yourself."
Here he is
Ibn 'Abbas-Radiallahuanhuma-have established proof on the man, and the man had
decided the case against him with himself. It is a matter that can be known by
nature even though the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet-peace and
alaihi wa salam-has been talked about and most of sufficient size for the fair
in search of the truth.
So,
know-hopefully Allah Subhanahu wa-Ta'ala-giving mercy to us all-bahwasannya
singing (music) and Al-Qur `an will not gather in the chest for good. Due to
al-Qur `an prohibits following passions and ordered to maintain the sanctity
and virtue. While singing (music) ordered to follow the passions,
menggelorakannya and move to all evils. Surely not you see someone whose life
inclined towards singing (music) except him no straying from the path of
guidance, and there is a desire to listen to her singing (music) rather than
al-Qur `an. Had he heard the verses of the Qur `an, then into thick of it,
these verses will pass over it as if like a mountain that she saw him there is
a heavy burden and boredom. And if he heard singing (music) for hours, then his
soul be at rest, and which decorate syaitanlah-hiasinya. Allah Subhanahu
wa-ta'ala says:
"And
when the verses recited to us by boasting he turned as though he had not heard
it, as if no stopper in both ears; Then give him gembiralah news with a painful
punishment." (Surah Luqman: 7)
Ibn
Kathir-may Allaah have mercy-said: "that is, the person who received the
game, the vanity, and the music if recited the verses of the Qur` an and meerka
turned back to him. "
Hopefully
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala bless Amir al-Mu'mineen Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz-may
Allaah have mercy when he wrote to his son educator: "It should be the
first time that you teach is by subjecting themselves from the games, which was
started by Satan and results finally ar-Rahman is wrath. Because the real has
come to me from people who trusted of expert knowledge that the sound of music,
singing and listening to him will grow fond of hypocrisy in the chest as moss
grows on water. "
Then be
consistent ¬ hopefully Allah Subhanahu wa-Ta'ala-giving mercy to us and to all
of you-the way of guidance and obedience. And know that the people who
memishkan the believers away from the path he has necessitated regret, loss and
self-delusion. Then become a catwalk above you all the righteous Salaf that
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala-has provided testimony to them all with pleasure. And
do not look for besides them, Allah Subhanahu wa-ta'ala says:
"And
those who oppose the Messenger after the obvious truth for him, and follow the
path that is not the way of the believers, we let him freely against error has
mastered it and we put it into Jahannam, and it was the worst of Jahannam place
back." (Surat an-Nisa ': 115)
