Illegitimate Singing and Musical Instruments

Allah the Exalted says:

"And among men (there are) people who use words that are not useful so that he mislead (men) from the path of Allah without knowledge." (Surah Luqman: 6)
Abdullah bin Mas'ud said interprets' words that are not useful ','-by Allah-He is singing. "In another narration he said," That is the song, demin that no gods besides Him are entitled, "he repeated as many 3 times. This is also the interpretation of Ibn Abbas and Jabir bin Abdillah from among the companions. And of the tabi'in: Ikrimah, Sa'eed ibn Jubayr, Mujahid, Mak-hul, Al-Hasan Al-Basri, and much more. (See more in the Tafsir Ibn Kathir: 3/460)
Of Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari radhiallahu anhu that he heard the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said: "Someday there will be a bunch of people from my Ummah who will justify adultery, silk (for men), alcohol, and musical instruments." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari no. 5590)
Phrase 'will justify' indicates that this is the fourth origin is haram, then they menghalalkannya.
View full discussion regarding this hadith keshahihan and disclaimers for those who declare it to be a weak hadith, in the book Fath Al-Bari: 10/52 Al-Hafiz works and books Tahrim tool works Ath-Tharb ash-Shaykh Al-Albani rahimahullah.
Brief description:
Singing is absolutely forbidden thing, either accompanied with or without musical instruments, smelling good lyrics that are immoral or religion (nasheed). That's because the arguments above are general and none of the arguments that exclude nasyid or singing without music.
So singing and music are two things that have a separate law. Surah Luqman forbids singing at the top, while the above hadith forbids musical instruments. So as the music without singing is haram, so is singing without music is also forbidden, because both have their own argument that mengharamkannya.
As a complement, here we bring you a few words about the illicit nature of the four schools of music and singing:

  • A.    Al-Hanafi.
Abu Hanifah rahimahullah said, "The song is forbidden in all religions." (Ruh Al-Ma'ani: 21/67 by Al-Alusi)
Ath-Tayeb Abu Tabari said, "Abu Hanifa hate hearing songs and chants menghukumi act is a sin." (Talbis devil thing. 282 works of Ibn al-Jawzi)

  • B.     Al-Malikiah
Ishaq bin Isa Ath-Thabba 'said, "I asked Anas bin Malik about the songs performed by some of the people of Medina. So he replied, "Nothing melakukukan it (singing) in our country except those who rebel." (Reported by Al-Khallal in Al-Amr bil ruf wan Nahyu anil Munkar thing. 142, Ibn al- Jauzi in Talbis devil thing. 282, and sanadnya declared Saheeh by Al-Albani in Tahrim Tool Ath-Tharb thing. 98)
Ath-Tayeb Abu Tabari said, "As for Malik ibn Anas, that he has been banned from singing and listening to songs. And this is the school of all the people of Medina. "(Talbis devil thing. 282)

  • C.    Ash-Syafi'iyah.
Shafi'i rahimahullah said, "I found something in Iraq called taghbir, raised by people zindiq to dissuade people from reading Al-Qur` an. "(Reported by Abu Nuaim in Al-Hilyah: 9 / 146 and Ibn al-Jawzi in Talbis devil thing. 283 with a saheeh isnaad)
Taghbir temple is a collection of poems which contains the recommendation for asceticism of the world, which was sung by a singer who is present while hitting the tambourine accompaniment.
We say: If this taghbir lyrics like that (recommendation noon against the world) and only accompanied by a simple musical instrument, but still hated by Imam Ash-Shafi'i, then again about how if he saw the current nasyid, especially if you look at non-religious song now?!
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taimiah said commenting on Ash-Shafi'i saying above, "What was mentioned by Ash-Shafi'i that taghbir raised by the utterance of zindiq is a priest who knows very well about the foundations of Islam. Because this taghbir heard, basically nobody's happy and nobody except those invited to hear the accused as zindiq. "(Majmu 'Al-Fatawa: 11/507)
Ibn Al-Jawzi said, "The students are senior Ash-Shafi'i radhiallahu anhum deeds deny heard (singing)." (Talbis devil thing. 283)
Ibn Al-Qayyim also said in Al-Luhfan Ighatsah thing. 350, "Ash-Shafi'i and senior students as well as those who know his school, including the most violent of the cleric's like in this case (the prohibition of singing)."
Hence Ibn Al-Jawzi said in Talbi devil thing. 283, "And this is the speech of the scholars Syafi'iyah and good people their religion among them (ie the prohibition of singing). No one gives a relief to listen to music except the ones later in his school, they were minimal knowledge and has been controlled by his desires. "

  • D.    Al-Hanabilah
Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Hanbal said, "I asked my father about singing, so he replied," The Song of hypocrisy grow in the heart, I do not like it. "(Reported by Al-Khallal in Al-Amr bil Ma? Thing. 142)
Ibn Al-Jawzi said in Talbis devil thing. 284, "The songs are there in this day and age, it is forbidden in the side he (Imam Ahmad), then again if he knows what additions do the people in this age."
We say: It was in the time of Ibn al-Jawzi, then how else if Ibn al-Jawzi and Imam Ahmad know the shape of musical instruments and singing lyrics in modern times like this?!
The conclusion:
Ibn Taimiah rahimahullah said, "Four Imams, they have agreed to proscribe the musical instruments that are the tools of the game that are not useful." (Minhaj As-Sunnah: 3/439). Ibn Al-Qayyim rahimahullah said, "It must be known that if the tambourine, female singer, and the song had gathered to hear the imam is haram according to all schools and apart them from the scholars of the Muslims." (Al-Luhfan Ighatsah: 1/350). Al-Albani rahimahullah said in Tahrim Tool Ath-Tharb thing. 105 said, "The scholars and jurists-and among them there are four-Imam has agreed to forbid musical instruments, in order to follow the hadiths nabawiah and atsar-atsar of the Salaf."
